Geraldo Rivera is on NewsNation’s Cuomo show with Jon Bennet Ramsey, the father of JonBenet Ramsey. In 1997 not long after JonBenet’s death, as the tragic mystery gripped the nation, Geraldo’s namesake talk show ran a mock trial examining the case, in which her parents were found at least partially liable. Geraldo apologized to Mr. Ramsey for any hurt that he had caused. No one should go through the tragedy that their family did.
JonBenet Ramsey was found dead in the basement of her home the day after Christmas, 1996. The 6 year old was a frequent competitor in beauty pageants and though her death was a homicide, no one was ever convicted.
New DNA evidence could indicate an ‘unexplained third party’ in the case, and Mr. Ramsey would like the DNA evidence re-tested in light of new technology and new developments.
